Where it began
Brooklyn born, with Guyanese roots
Rafeea was born and raised in Brooklyn, with strong Guyanese roots. Her commitment to service began early, working alongside her father in faith based education and community initiatives.
Those years shaped a belief she still carries into every room: meaningful leadership begins with understanding people, honoring their experiences, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.

Where public health meets cultural identity
Rafeea is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health. Her interests sit at the intersection of public health, cultural identity, systemic inequities, and psychological wellbeing.
She is especially focused on how empathy, education, and culturally informed strategies can strengthen relationships, promote resilience, and support healthier communities.
