About Rafeea
Meaningful leadership begins with understanding people.
Rafeea N. Roche is a Community Cultural Strategist, entrepreneur, and advocate whose work bridges cultural understanding, community engagement, public health, and organizational leadership. Born and raised in Brooklyn with strong Guyanese roots, she has spent over 15 years founding and managing businesses, leading teams, developing programs, and building strategic partnerships across nonprofit, educational, healthcare, and community sectors.
She helped turn a simple idea into a women's entrepreneurship mentorship initiative where participants worked toward grants of up to $5,000. Currently pursuing her Master of Public Health, she focuses on how empathy, education, and culturally informed strategy strengthen relationships and build resilience.

“Before we understand culture, we must understand people. Before we create change, we must learn to connect. And to truly connect, we must simply be human.”
